NOOMA Studio made the structures entitled Coral Heights, Kingfisher's Nest, Owl Barbules and Jellyfish Bells.
They are an award-winning interdisciplinary practice of architects and creatives, with a heartfelt connection to London. They exist to problem-solve and create joyful spaces that support human thriving and wellbeing. The studio is founded on diversity. They create accessible, people-led spaces through investigation, engagement, design delivery and post occupancy support.
NOOMA is interested in the idea of circularity, found in nature. Biomimicry is a process which runs in circles, learning as it builds and adapts and builds again. At NOOMA, the design process is similarly rhythmic.
NOOMA’s designs are circular in that they consider the existing and past lives from a space. They give back what is taken, continue what has started.
