Melissa
Melissa is the Founder and Director of The School for Creative Thinkers which she began as a way of teaching kids how to think creatively. She is also founder and director of the Museum of Architecture which she started to help architects be more entrepreneurial and help the public better engage with architecture. Melissa has created projects such as The Gingerbread City, Sandcastles, and has initiated innovative programmes such as MoA Directors to share best practice in the industry. She worked as an architectural designer for Zaha Hadid Architects in London. She has lectured on new business strategies for the built environment at institutions including: Harvard GSD, UCL, and the Architectural Association. Melissa has a Masters in Architecture from Pratt Institute and a BFA, Architecture from the University of Massachusetts. |
Morvi
Morvi is Head of Programmes at SFCT. She ran her own design studio for 7 years in Iran, exhibited her collections around the country, collaborated with designers and artists on different projects from concept development to production. In 2013 she moved to London to pursue her MA in Fashion, and she graduated with distinction from Kingston university. She continued her career assisting creative directors, working with the public and gaining experience in management. She took part as an educator in developing experimental workshops with BMW Tate Live. |
Giulia
“Architecture is about finding solutions to a problem in a very inspiring way” Giulia graduated with Honours in 2015 from the University of Rome, Sapienza, with a thesis in 3D survey and historical study of the medieval Castle of Ninfa. After graduating, Giulia has worked for practices in the Principality of Monaco, in Cambridge, and now in London. She has designed high-end residential buildings located on the French and Italian coast, and she is currently working on the design for a 10 storey commercial office building located in New Oxford Street with Apt London. |
Raquel
“Success relies on finding the right balance between reliability ,collaboration, dedication, productivity and optimism.” Raquel graduated in Valladolid, Spain. Raquel moved to London and joined DOS Architects where she helped to expand the practice as an Associate for almost 9 years. She was the Team Leader for the residential team focusing on high-end projects in London. Raquel is now at Apt, where she is working on different construction sectors in different regions of the UK. In her free time she loves travelling, photography and being in contact with nature. |
